Now's A Good Time to Come Back

Live music, cult horror, and a firepit. In that order.

Genesis Plaza got a full glow-up. There's a firepit at the center that's become the regular meetup spot—take a seat, roast a marshmallow, hang out with whoever's around. There's the Theatre with plush seating and a big screen, the Game Arena for jumping into fast multiplayer, the DCL Store for trying on new outfits, a Hall of Fame celebrating the community's best, and airdrop drones hiding surprises around every corner.

Tonight feels like a good moment to see it for yourself.

Every Tuesday, a different Twitch streamer takes over the Theatre and plays a full live set to the room—lights, visuals, balloons, bubbles, the works. The streamer shows up as their avatar and chats with the crowd as the show unfolds. It's part gig, part hangout, part something you have to experience to fully explain.

Tonight's set kicks off at 8pm UTC. That's in a couple of hours.

And if you want to make it two nights running, jump in tomorrow as well.

Every Wednesday, there’s a virtual watch party in the Theatre. It’s the same time every week (2pm UTC and 8pm UTC) with everyone watching and reacting together. It's the opposite of watching alone on your sofa. Right now it's a cult horror series. More genres are coming. Next up is cult classic The Last Man on Earth (1964).

One more thing: Decentraland is coming to mobile. Soon you'll be able to drop in from anywhere, anytime, straight from your phone.

See you in there.
