As announced in Decentraland’s 2024 Manifesto, the Foundation’s main focus this year has been the development of a new, performant Desktop Client. This new version of Client is set to completely change the Decentraland experience as you know it, and the first-ever sneak peek of it will be revealed tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22, at Decentraland’s Community Summit in Argentina!

Don’t miss this juicy reveal—tune in for the livestream of the Community Summit’s first day virtually in Decentraland at Genesis Plaza or in the Auditorium. RSVP to the event below, so you don’t miss it—it’s less than 24hrs away!

More Control for Creators: New, VRM Export Opt-Out Added

Added in response to a Canny request from community member Nikki Fuego, it is now possible for creators to opt out of having their Wearables included in a user’s avatar VRM export if they’d rather not see their creation outside of Decentraland. To opt out, just edit your Wearable’s properties as seen above.

Shoppers, don’t worry, Wearables that are not exportable will by marked as such in the Marketplace.
