Decentraland Music Festival ‘23 was phenomenal!

Last week, Decentraland’s 3rd annual music festival rocked the virtual social world over 3 event-packed days. Across 5 stages, 10 experiences, and 5 new games, Decentraland’s community and music fans from across the metaverse partied to over 80 musical performances from some the world’s most innovative artists—it was amazing!

Thank you to everyone who attended #DCLMF23 and all the talented artists and builders who brought the festival to life, pushing the boundaries of musical experience. 💜 We can’t wait to see what #DCLMF24 brings!

Apply to the Decentraland Community Summit by Dec 8!

The first-ever IRL Decentraland Community Summit will take place May 22-24, 2024, in Argentina, the birthplace of Decentraland!

The main goals of the event are to enhance the human connection between community members, celebrate community achievements, gather feedback and insight, and look towards the future of Decentraland.

An invite-only event, attendance depends on your application. If selected, attendees just need to get themselves to Argentina and all of the lodging, dining, and social activities will be covered!

Summit Travel Scholarship Approved: Apply Now

If covering your flights poses a challenge for you, don’t give up hope just yet! Thanks to a DAO grant that was just passed this week, a limited number of travel scholarships will be available for attendees in need—just don’t forget to apply. Applying for the Summit does not automatically put you in the running for a travel scholarship. You must additionally fill out the scholarship application.

The deadline to apply for the travel scholarship & to attend the Decentraland Community Summit is December 8, 2023, but the earlier you apply, the better! Read the official Summit announcement to learn the full details.

Misucmaker is inviting everyone to hit the dance floor with his creation, ‘Meta-Funk’ a blend of electronic and funk music vibes. This music genre combines groovy bass lines, catchy rhythms, and infectious vocal melodies. Now, people can come together under the umbrella of funk music just like in the old days and groove to the Meta-Funk spirit!
